Has the entry of the Facebook vanity URL started online war games?

Vanity URLs are cool, though I bet it’s easier to secure /vikduggal than /johnsmith incidentally, Apple was out in front on this with it’s me.com/ idea it hasn’t really taken off because generally people want community not islands of content.

Facebook is really restricting these vanity urls for Facebook pages, I can’t wait to see what happens AFTER tonight. It’s going to be insane!

James, I actually think it’s going to be hard to get vik or vikrant duggal as your name. I think that name is like the Indian version of our “John Smith” name… it’s huge! I tried googling Vik for awhile and there were TONS of results ahead of him.

Try searching for “sam howat” I am as unique as a snowflake. :)
