I definitely fall into two categories…the selling a product/service and promoting myself and my company. I know the Internet is going to play A HUGE role in my travel club’s (World Travelers United). In addition to the role the Internet will play, it is completely up to me how much progress and success I have when it comes to offline marketing. I must go out there and let people know what I’m doing, because if I don’t, as obvious as it is, they won’t know that I have a group travel club business!
If I had to choose one out the two, I’d definitely say the promoting myself and the company, because that in itself will enable me to sell my products and/or services…the more people that find me credible, likable, and trustable, the more business I will produce and long-term clients I will gain. Now that I’m close to getting my business up and running, it’s time to rock n’ roll and start “promoting” my group travel programs for 2009! Can’t wait. Looking forward to the post on the tools that will make this possible and if they’re readily available and/or if I’m using them properly.
