First time viewer. Found you through James Bedell on Twitter.

Anyhow, I’m looking to continue pushing through some things I set into motion in 2008. Don’t believe in stopping and starting so much, but continually moving and reassessing when you run out of steam or hit a plateau. Always look for a better way!

LFABW: a phrase to live by and continuously follow in the year 2009 – great post Vik! Sometimes people “settle” for what they have or where they are and rarely seek avenues to do things better, much better, and I sometimes feel that people aren’t really doing what they’re truly passionate about – I hope people find themselves and pursue what really makes them happy this year. With that being said, this year is going to be great for me. 2008 was a great learning experience as I witnessed the ups and downs of Corporate America and our economy, and now that I am through with that I am setting a major goal for myself to get into business and be my own boss. I am going to start my own business in the travel industry as I have a sincere passion for traveling and believe I can make the experiences for my prospective clients that much greater through customization and personalization. I will be focusing primarily on the cruise industry and am working on identifying an area of specialization. The research, networking, and knowledge-building has begun. Here’s to a great 2009!

@John Thanks for sharing! Every industry will definitely be seeing an upheaval. The time is right to LFABW. Keep us posted on how things are progressing. As long as the ball moves a little bit forward every day, you’ll be golden!

@JR This is exactly right. Baby steps. If the ball is moving forward even a little bit everyday then you’re doing just fine. When the big jumps come, enjoy them.

It’s all about the journey.
